Definition of supply chain and IT strategy, realization S&OP planning
MISSION
The production of airbags is characterized by long processing times to warp and weave air cushions (upstream) and to assemble airbags in small lot sizes for daily call-offs (downstream). The planning is very challenging and therefore our 2nd tier customer decided to define a global supply chain and IT strategy in the use case of ERP and MES implementation. Furthermore, the synchronisation of the supply chain from warping to final assembly should be solved with our STREMLER REALTIME TECHNOLOGIES.
SOLUTION AND WORK PROCESS
In the first step, we designed the architecture for planning and control accordingly to the supply chain and IT strategy of our customer. In the next step we realized the S&OP process with our synchronisation module to align order schedules from raw material to shipment.
