Realization of the European logistics project “24 hours response time”
MISSION
As one of the world's leading manufacturers of intelligent sensors and sensor solutions for industrial applications, SICK AG initiated the "Eurologistics" project. STREMLER was asked to support in the further improvement of a fast and punctual delivery to customers and at the same time reduce the capital commitment and the distribution costs.
SOLUTION AND WORK PROCESS
The main task was to design and implement a performance and cost optimized flow of goods and information for the supply of European direct customers.
Conception of processes for order processing, production procurement, integrated planning and control
Development of processes for distribution logistics via decentralized hubs to the end customer
Realization of planning and control and a material management concept to ensure demand synchronized production
Design of consistent scheduling and prioritization across the entire logistics chain and installation of pilot direct delivery
