Mission
STREMLER AG was commissioned to develop a business model for the entire ArcelorMittal WireSolutions organization with 18 plants, to reduce the complexity while respecting the individual IT requirements, as basis for a uniform SAP implementation. Business model proof-of-concept to be realized in the AM Bissen plant.
Solution and Work Process
Together with the different teams standardized business processes were elaborated
Development of the new standard business model production system with an aligned breathing model
Definition of a standard process model and functionalities for customer service center and logisitics, production, procurement and materials management
Introduction of a new planning and control concept for the entire value chain aligned to the requirements of product- and productionsegments
Design of a cross-organisational management information system and introduction of KPIs
Realisation of a pilot project in the AM Bissen plant and transformation to benchmark performance
Mapping of a new business model as well as a new organisational structure and processes in an ERP and MDS business blueprint

Conception of a cross-organizational management information system
Ensuring an efficient and significantly shortened implementation phase of SAP in all plants
Ensuring the future transfer of the ERP business model to companies to be integrated and when expanding through organic growth
Centralization of IT services and reduction of maintenance costs across the entire group
